I'm proud to call Columbia, Missouri, home. I've had the privilege of watching this community grow from a small town into the vibrant city it is today. I still remember when my mother worked at the State Farm office after it relocated to south Columbia, back before that side of town had seen much development. Those memories remind me just how much our community has grown while holding onto the values that make Mid-Missouri such a special place to call home.

With seven documented generations of my family rooted in Mid-Missouri, I have a genuine appreciation for the people, neighborhoods, and traditions that define this community. My family's commitment to Mid-Missouri extends beyond where we live. For more than 150 years, my family has cared for a nearly 300-year-old church and cemetery in Millersburg, Missouri. After a devastating fire, four of my great-uncles helped rebuild the church, where both sets of my great-grandparents are buried today. Preserving that history, and one day helping it become a recognized historic site, is a goal that's close to my heart.

Before beginning my real estate career, I spent six years as a Regional Solutions Consultant with FedEx Office, partnering with organizations across a five-state region. That experience taught me that success comes from listening first, understanding each client's unique needs, communicating clearly, and following through on every promise. Those same principles continue to guide the way I serve my real estate clients.

My journey into real estate became deeply personal while helping my mother prepare to sell her home during her sixth battle with cancer. One of her greatest concerns wasn't the house itself. She simply wanted to make sure everything was in order so her children wouldn't have to carry that burden after she was gone. Helping my mom prepare for the future while serving as her caregiver during her final months taught me that every home has a story, and every family deserves someone they can trust to help write the next chapter.

Walking beside her through that process showed me just how emotional buying and selling a home can be. It's rarely just about real estate. It's about family, memories, difficult decisions, and navigating life's biggest transitions with someone you trust. That experience continues to shape the way I serve every client.

Four years ago, I ran for Boone County Recorder of Deeds. Through countless conversations with residents, I discovered that many people were overwhelmed by questions about homeownership, property rights, fair housing, and where to begin. More than anything, they wanted someone they could trust.

Although my campaign ended, my commitment to listening to and serving my community never did. I continue to stay engaged because understanding the people, neighborhoods, and growth of Mid-Missouri helps me better serve my clients and the community I proudly call home.
